(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Stark County is included in a Flash Flood Watch that’s been issued by the National Weather Service.

The watch goes from Saturday afternoon through Monday night.

Forecasters say multiple rounds of heavy rainfall will saturate the ground and support more rapid runoff, increasing the threat of flash flooding.

Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are likely, with locally higher amounts of 4 to 6 inches possible.

People should be ready to take action if a Flash Flood Warning is issued.
