Stark County Judges Recommend Two More Death Sentences for Brinkman

CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – They’re recommending the death penalty. Deliberations in the murder trial of George Brinkman wrapped up earlier this afternoon, totaling about five hours between yesterday and today.
The three judge panel is Stark County Common Pleas Court recommended two death penalty sentences for Brinkman, who was found guilty earlier this week in the murders of Gene and Roberta John inside their Lake Township home in 2017.
He’s already on death row for a Cleveland-area triple killing. Formal sentencing is set for tomorrow.
