NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A session of the Tuscarawas County grand jury has indicted a man and woman from Stark County.
They are accused of dumping the body of a Canton-area mother of two in Sandy Township in Tuscarawas County last September.
38-year-old Victor McCoy of Canton and 36-year-old Ashlie Morris of Massillon face ‘abuse of a corpse’ charges.
Sheriff’s investigators there believe 27-year-old Katie Ann Fuller died at Morris’s home, perhaps of an overdose according to Stark County investigators.
There was no indication of trauma.
Her remains were found by a hunter along North Orchard Road last November.
Morris was placed under arrest.
McCoy is doing prison time on an unrelated domestic violence conviction.
