Stark, Other Fairs in Ohio Get Six-Figure State Grants

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Stark County Fair Board and the state’s other 93 county and independent fairs are getting checks from the state for as much as $106,000.

There’s funding going for projects like restroom and grandstand renovations and improved accessibility.

The Canton-based fair gets the maximum amount.

That grant announcement was made from the governor’s office.
