Stark Parks Seeking Increase for Trails

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Stark Parks is heading to the ballot for a small tax increase in November.
The countywide park district hopes to expand its connectivity to trails like the Towpath, linking those major trails to neighborhoods, schools and parks.
Surveys indicate residents want better access to existing trails.
The district is asking for 1.2 mills; the current 1 mill levy is expiring.
