State Patrol Effort Targets Distracted Drivers, Over 400 Cited

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – It was part of Distracted Driving Awareness Month in April.

The State Highway Patrol and state police in Ohio’s five contiguous states collaborated in a recent weeklong effort to cite those drivers not paying full attention to the road.

In Ohio, 419 drivers were cited by patrol troopers, including 11 citations in Stark County.

The Warren County post near Cincinnati led the state with 38 distracted drivers.
