State Patrol Targeting Impaired Drivers, Trying to Keep Fatality Numbers Down

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Troopers with the State Highway Patrol are working this holiday.
Their goal is to remove impaired drivers from Ohio’s roadways.
Last year, 11 people were killed over the five-day Christmas holiday weekend.
Six of the fatalities were from accidents that were OVI-related.
The patrol made 400 arrests over the 2018 Christmas holiday weekend.
