State to Provide Funding for Agencies Assisting Human Trafficking Victims

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The state of Ohio is putting up some funding when it comes to assisting the victims of human trafficking.

The new Direct Services for Victims of Human Trafficking grant program has $4 million available for nonprofit organizations who are assisting those victims.

Services covered include mental health, substance abuse treatment and residential placement.
