Summit CSO: Woman Faces Arson Charges for Setting Apartment Unit on Fire

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Ravenna woman is in the Summit County jail, accused of setting a fire in Coventry Township Wednesday night that could have hurt a lot of people.
32-year-old Courtney Cooney is charged with aggravated arson.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office says she entered a South Turkeyfoot Road apartment unit through a window, poured gasoline on furniture, then set it on fire.
No word on any injuries or the extent of damage.
Cooney had lived at the apartment before being thrown out.
