Teenage Son of Canton Man Charged With His Murder

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 16-year-old from Canton is charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of the boy’s father.

Canton police say Daman Dillard shot 50-year-old Musa El Bay several times at a house on 7th Street NW just east of the city’s park system.

He was deceased inside the house.

Dillard was still at the scene when police got there.

It happened around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4.

It’s Canton’s 11th homicide of the year.
