‘Tis the season everyone.  High School Football is bearing down on us. August 29th to be exact….our First Game of our 75th Year of Broadcasting High School Football on The One…The Only….1480 WHBC.  For me…my 35th season, and it’s  truly a time , for me, of reflection, and sincere thanks to those who carried the torch before me….Jim Muzzy….Jim Johnson. They were my mentors, my friends. They impacted my life beyond words and I am forever grateful.

It’s a time to take a step back and truly take it all in.  1480 WHBC…75 Years of commitment to High School Broadcasts for Stark County.  The flash backs of teams, communities, players, coaches. Blood, sweat, and tears. Successes and failures.  It has been an honor…and it has been a blast!!

I began my “Pre-Season Tour” this past weekend with visits to Jackson and Glenoak to take in some scrimmage action.  The tour will continue this week. And with each scrimmage the anticipation and excitement and builds for and incredible  2019 season and we have the broadcast schedule to back it up!

I am so excited, and privileged,  to work alongside the Best In the Business for this 75th Season….Mark Miller, our color analyst, Denny Kinkead, stats, and THE Best damn Sideline Guy in the land….The Roadman—Kenny Roda!

The clock is ticking for  Kick Off of Game 1 PERRY @ CENTRAL on August 29th!  From my perspective in the Booth….buckle up and come along for the ride with THE Voice of Stark County High School Football—1480 WHBC—WE GOT GAME!!  See y’all On the Radio!!
