Tornado Tally: 16 Twisters in Ohio/Pennsylvania Region

JACKSON TWP., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A total of 16 tornadoes have been confirmed by the National Weather Service offices in Pittsburgh and Cleveland for last Thursday.
Eight occurred in Ohio and eight in Pennsylvania.
In our area, the Jackson Township EF-1 tornado with maximum winds of 110 miles an hour laid down a three mile-long path of tree and building damage.
The storm especially impacted North Park and the Lake Cable area.
Incredibly, despite the damage in the Lake Cable neighborhood, only about 34 people lost power.
Fisher Park was still closed at last check.
