Tough Year for Many Ohio Pumpkin Growers

HEBRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC and ONN) – A tough year for Ohio pumpkin growers, especially those in the more drought-impacted areas.
One central Ohio farmer says you can do all the necessary things like fertilizing and weeding, but if Mother Nature doesn’t provide enough rain, it’s a problem.
This weekend’s rain is too much, too late.
Farmer Matt Van Buren recommends getting your pumpkins early this season.
