Trial Underway in Gruesome Killing of Massillon Woman

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The 47-year-old Akron man accused of beating a Massillon woman to death and setting her body on fire is on trial in Summit County Common Pleas Court.

Daniel Jones faces murder and other charges.

The body of 43-year-old Kerri Blondheim was found on top of a burning mattress last September along Van Buren Road in the city of New Franklin.
