Troopers Say Fatal Crash in Carroll Last Week Was Alcohol-Related

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Charges are pending for the 26-year-old driver who went left of center on Andora Road north of Carrollton last week.

That accident killed 71-year-old Patrick Snow of Malvern.

State Highway Patrol troopers from the New Philadelphia post suspected alcohol was a factor in the two-vehicle collision.

That’s even though a social media post under Dakota Kincaid’s name claimed he had reached six months of sobriety.

The East Rochester man is on probation from an earlier misdemeanor impaired-driving conviction.

Troopers say there were strong indications that Kincaid was “under the influence” in the fatal crash.
