Trump Holds Rally Near Dayton, Strong Reaction to Several Statements There

VANDALIA, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Former President Donald Trump was the special guest and no doubt drew the big crowd for a rally Saturday afternoon at Wright Brothers Aero Inc near Dayton.

It was a rally to get out the vote for candidate for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate Bernie Moreno.

Trump called him a political outsider who is going to be a “warrior in Washington”.

He also used the occasion to promote his own candidacy for president, with some of his comments drawing strong reaction.

Trump referred to those who have been or are being adjudicated in the Capitol riot as “hostages”.

His Vice President in his previous term Mike Pence told CBS’s Face the Nation that there are American hostages in Gaza.

Pence said that the thousand or so people being or having been adjudicated in the justice system for their January 6th actions are not “hostages”.

There was concern raised about Trump’s use of the term “blood bath”, which he claimed will be the result of him not being elected.
