U of A: 18-Year-Old Gunshot Victim Was Student

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC and ONN) – The University of Akron confirms it was an 18-year-old student who was killed when gunshots rang out in a large crowd of people near the campus.
It happened in the area of Buchtel Field early Sunday morning, according to Akron police.
In addition to the young woman, two other people were shot.
They were 25- and 22-year-old men.
Shots were fired after a fight broke out in the crowd.
