USDA Disaster Declaration in 22 Drought-Afflicted Ohio Counties

WASHINGTON, DC (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The USDA has declared 22 counties mainly in southeast Ohio as Primary Natural Disaster Areas.
That’s because of persistent drought conditions that have led to significant crop losses.
The declaration allows for emergency loan assistance for farmers.
The nearest counties to us are Harrison, Guernsey and Jefferson.
