USDA: Drought Watch Continued for Stark

WASHINGTON, DC (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – With the rainfall deficit now at five inches since June 1 at the Akron Canton Airport, much of Stark County remains in Drought Watch, according to the USDA.
Even though 2.87 inches of rain fell at the weather station in September, that was still .63 inches below normal.
