Water Main Break Closes Mercy Health Center, Businesses

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Due to a water main break, Mercy Health Center of North Canton and all its services are closed on Thursday.

The health center is located at 6200 Whipple Avenue NW.

Mercy says it will also be closed on Friday and will reopen at its usual time on Saturday.

Mercy apologizes for the inconvenience and says for STATCARE immediate care services or lab and radiology, patients can visit one of their other health center locations in Jackson Township, Massillon, Plain Township or Carroll and Tuscarawas Counties.

Other businesses in that area of Whipple Avenue are also being affected by the water main break.

Businesses could have their water back on as early as Friday, but the City of North Canton is telling them they may be without water until Saturday.
