We Can Use Some More Rain

GREEN, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Just .14 inches of rain was recorded at the CAK weather station on Wednesday.

And, it was a very dry month of October.

Just .87 inches of rain was recorded there, about two-and-a-half inches below normal.

Most of Stark County remains at some level of drought, with the southwest corner in extreme drought according to the October 30 U.S. Drought Monitor.

AccuWeather had a 93% chance of rain on Sunday.

The average temperature last month was 55.8 degrees, just over two degrees above normal.

The airport has still not recorded a temperature below freezing this season.
