Weather’s Impact on Autumn Leaf Season

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – As we reach the peak of the Autumn leaf season, it’s a mix of colors in our area.

Some bright oranges, reds and yellows.

But also some burnt orange, brown, and still a whole lot of green.

AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Bob Larson says you can blame the warm Summer and the drought conditions for the less-than-spectacular show.

The airport weather station shows a near inch-and-a-half rain deficit for the month, with extreme drought conditions still showing up in parts of Carroll and Tuscarawas Counties.
