WEDNESDAY UPDATE: Nearly 200,000 Vaccinated, 7800 New Cases

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Nearly 200,000 people in Ohio have now been vaccinated against the coronavirus, receiving the first dose of the vaccine.

That’s 1.7-percent of the population.

In Stark County, just over 7000 have received the vaccine, good for 1.9-percent.

Ohio reported 7800 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, bringing the total case count to over 742,000.

Vaccinated first dose: Ohio 199,801 (1.7%), Stark 7019 (1.9%)
