Where Stark County Fits in the 8-Region Hospital Plan

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – You’ve probably heard that the state is divided into eight regions when it comes to hospital planning for the pandemic.
Stark County is in Region 5 which runs from Mansfield to Youngstown and Warren, including Akron but not Cleveland.
Still, the 13 counties have a Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals presence, as well as major hospital systems in Canton, Akron and Youngstown.
