Why? Christmas Tree Prices Up

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – If you’re looking to “spruce” up your home for the holidays, the Ohio Consumers Counsel says you should expect to pay more for a live Christmas tree this year.

And it’s not just the dry weather making trees more expensive.

It’s costs associated with fertilizer, fuel, transportation and staffing.

Still, the Ohio Christmas Tree Association says you’re supporting local agriculture when you “pine” for a live tree.
