Youngstown Bishop Murry to Step Down

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is stepping down due to his ongoing health issues.
The diocese in a press release says Bishop George Murry submitted his resignation letter to Pope Francis.
He is being treated for leukemia for a third time.
Bishop Murry has led the six-county diocese since 2007.
