Suspect Dead, Officer Injured in Sugarcreek Incident

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – BCI is investigating after a suspect was shot dead by a Sugarcreek police officer following a traffic stop in the Tuscarawas County village Wednesday morning.

The unnamed officer was also injured and flown by medical helicopter to the hospital.

That officer is said to be in stable condition.

The suspect has also not been named.

The traffic stop occurred behind the TMK Farm Service building in Sugarcreek.
