CPD: Man Arrested in Friday Afternoon Canton Shooting

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – The man accused of shooting a man seen near Hall of Fame activities near the Civic Center on Friday has been arrested.

34-year-old Brian Tichon was arrested Sunday morning in Georgia.

He’s accused of shooting a man who was driving his car in the 4400 block of Market Avenue N.

The victim drove away, but got caught in Enshrinement Festival traffic.

Police got the victim an ambulance and got him to the hospital.

The victim was treated and released.

Police stress it had nothing to do with the festival.
