AAA: More Younger Teen Drivers, Some Still Wait

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – There are more teen drivers than ever on our nation’s roadways.

One reason: a greater percentage of 16- and 17-year-olds are getting licensed: 60%.

Many wait until they are 18 or more because they are nervous about getting behind the wheel or they can get their own rides.

AAA has tips and more for teens and parents at their webpage.

This is Teen Driver Safety Week.
