BellStores Parent Buys Cambridge-based Convenience Stores

MASSILLON, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Massillon-based Campbell Oil Company which owns the BellStores chain of convenience stores is buying the gas marketing and convenience store assets of Cambridge-based The Hartley Company which owns 31 Starfire and other stores.
Terms were not disclosed.
The 15 Starfire stores will be converted to the BellStores brand.
With the acquisition, Campbell will have 74 BellStores employing over 1200.
