City of Canton Approves Spending for New Body Cameras for Police

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The city of Canton is buying 100 new police body cameras.
City council OK’d expenditure of the federal funding the other night.
The cameras reportedly replace units that are more than five years old and have improved technology.
The $58,000 from the Justice Department will be matched at an equal amount locally.
