DeWine Wants More Testing, Makes FDA Plea

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Governor Mike DeWine wants more coronavirus testing in Ohio, and he’s asking the FDA to approve a different formula for testing.
The new formula is for for what’s called the extraction reagent kit involved in testing.
On NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday, he told host Chuck Todd that the state could double or triple it’s testing overnight.
