Drugs Found at Canton Home Invasion Site

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – There could be more charges in that home invasion shooting death in Canton on Monday.

The police vice unit confiscated 10 marijuana plants as well as grow equipment from the 2nd Street NW house in a later search.

Police say the unnamed homeowner shot one of two robbers who were inside the house.

24-year-old Nicholas Hug of Canton later died.

The other robber ran off.

A getaway driver was arrested and charged with murder.
