Home Savings Being Acquired by Defiance Ohio Bank

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – A longtime Youngstown-based bank with an area location will be changing its name soon.

Home Savings Bank has agreed to merge into First Defiance Financial Corp out of Defiance Ohio.

Home Savings has nearly 50 offices in three states.

Locally, they’re on Whipple Avenue in Jackson Township.
