Man Charged After Truck Crashes Into House in Canton

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 27-year-old Carroll County man faces ‘driving under the influence’ charges after the dump truck he was driving plowed into a house in Canton on Saturday morning.

Canton police say Jordan Burkhart of Dellroy was pulling a utility tractor on a trailer when it collided with a Hummer in the 2700 block of Harmont Avenue NE.

The Hummer flipped over before the construction vehicles hit the house.

Three people including Burkhart were reportedly taken to the hospital.
