More Guard Members Out of North Canton Being Deployed

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – 30 more members of the Ohio National Guard are deploying this week.
The members of Detachment 2, Company C, 3rd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment out of North Canton will mobilize in support of Operation Spartan Shield in southwest Asia.
There’s a call to duty ceremony Thursday at 1 p.m. at the MAPS Air Museum.
It’s the new medevac unit’s first deployment.
Another larger unit out of North Canton was deployed a few weeks ago.
