ODH: Infant Mortality Numbers Down in Ohio, Stark

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Ohio Department of Health says the infant mortality rate fell in 2018 in both the state and in Stark County.
938 babies died across Ohio, with 26 infant deaths in Stark County.
In 2016 and 2017 in Stark, there were 38 deaths each year.
The infant mortality rate for black babies in the state remains more than twice that for white infants.
