Ohio, Neighboring Troopers Ticket 1600 for Move Over Violations

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – The recent weeklong initiative by the State Highway Patrol along with state police agencies in five neighboring states resulted in over 1600 citations for failure to obey each state’s Move Over laws.

The law is now in effect in all 50 states.

You are required to move over when any vehicle is on the shoulder of the roadway with its emergency flashers on.

If it’s not possible to move over, drivers must slow down.
