PFHOFV to Announce Merger, Funding Proposal to Advance Village

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – In the midst of the events surrounding Enshrinement Week and with anticipation that the Hall of Fame Village will see more progress soon, the Hall is announcing a merger with a special purpose acquisition company.

That will make the combined company a public entity, enabling more funding to be directed to the project.

James Dolan leads Gordon Pointe Acquisition Corporation.

The CEO of the MSG empire in New York City will become vice chairman of the company under David Baker.

We expect to learn more at a Friday afternoon news conference.
