State: Opioid Script Numbers Drop Again

(ONN) – For the sixth consecutive year, it appears Ohioans are using fewer prescription opioids.
The state’s Prescription Reporting System shows the number of doses prescribed across the state has dropped by 325 million since 2012.
That’s a 41% decrease.
Governor DeWine says it shows that prescribers are doing their job in helping to prevent opioid addiction.
