Wild Weather Impacts: Water Rescues, a Death, Another Tornado

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC and ONN) – We’ve had people rescued from the high waters on the region’s rivers.
Make it 20 water rescues along the Cuyahoga River in Kent in the past week.
And now a life has been lost.
A 53-year-old Kayaker died while on the Muskingum River near Zanesville.
The high water pushed him over a dam there.
Again, first responders stress staying off area rivers until levels return to normal.
Tornado Confirmed
Yet another tornado confirmed in Ohio this week.
The Pittsburgh office of the National Weather Service says an EF-1 tornado with winds at 95 miles an hour hit a sparsely-populated area of Muskingum County on Monday.
