7-Year-Old Dead, 3 Other Youngsters Seriously Injured in Holmes Amish Cart/Truck Crash

MILLERSBURG, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 7-year-old boy with a Shreve address is dead in a collision between a pony-drawn cart and a pickup truck in rural Holmes County.
Eli Troyer Jr was one of four Amish youngsters on the cart when it pulled in front of the truck on a county road on Wednesday.
The other three kids suffered serious injuries.
Police say Troyer’s 8-year-old sister was at the reins.
