All Votes In, Stark Primary Ballot Certified

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Stark County Board of Elections has certified the results from the March Primary Election.

There were no changes to any local races because of the addition of provisional ballots and late-arriving absentee ballots.

The Lake Local Schools additional levy won with 53.58-percent of voters saying “yes”.

Slightly over 66-percent of voters said “no” to the Marlington district levy.

66.51-percent of Jackson Township voters approved the police levy, while just over 60-percent of North Canton voters turned thumbs down on an income tax increase.

Final voter turnout was 26.1-percent.
