Canton Police Investigating Second Shooting this Week

CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Canton police are investigating to find out who is responsible for a shooting that took place last night.
Officers were called to the 1100 block of Eighth Street NW in response to a shots fired call just after 10 PM.
As they were heading to the scene they received word that an 18 year old Canton man was brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower right leg. They say the victim was uncooperative with the investigation.
This is now the second shooting in Canton this week, with the first taking place in an alley behind a gas station on 12th Street and Fulton Road NW. Officers say they don’t know who was responsible for either of them.
