CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Canton woman is out of jail after being arresting yesterday afternoon for an arranged drug deal. 48 year old Doretha Hardy met with a potential customer on Monday to sell them eight grams of crack cocaine.

The only problem for her was that potential customer turned out to be an undercover Stark County Sheriff’s deputy. Hardy was arrested at noon in the the 200 block of Dueber Avenue SW.

She was placed behind bars but is now free after posting $50,000 bail. Stark County records show Hardy has a history with this type of crime. She went to prison for selling cocaine 16 years ago.
