Fire District Creates GoFundMe Account for Fallen I-71 Firefighter

WEST SALEM, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – His Wayne County fire department has set up a GoFundMe account to benefit the family.
The Town and Country Fire District requested funding for Lt Phillip Wigal’s wife and two children.
The 35-year-old man was killed Monday afternoon after being hit by a semi while investigating an earlier accident along I-71 in the county.
Calling hours are Thursday and funeral Friday at the Church of the Nazarene in Wooster.
