Investigating Fire in Iconic Caboose in Downtown Alliance

ALLIANCE, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Alliance fire investigators are looking into a blaze that heavily damaged the city’s red caboose.

That train car has been a fixture in the downtown area for nearly 30 years.

The Firefighters local says they were called out to the parking lot at East Market Street and Mechanic Avenue early Tuesday morning.

There’s obvious fire damage to half of the vehicle.

No one was injured.

No firefighters were injured.
