Leak at Massillon Plant Quickly Brought Under Control

MASSILLON, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – A leak of anhydrous ammonia caused a few anxious moments at a Massillon business on Wednesday, but it ended quickly and without serious injuries.
The Massillon Fire Department says response crews at Americold Logistics were quickly able to isolate the leak and shut it down before it left the 17th Street SW plant.
The plant was able to return to normal operations soon afterward.
One employee suffered a minor injury.
