Massillon Man Sentenced in Carroll Bow and Arrow Attack

CARROLLTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 20-year-old Massillon man will serve 8 to 12 years time for that bow-and-arrow attack in Carroll County back in September.
Michael Geckler entered a guilty plea to attempted murder charges.
The victim, who was a friend, delivered a victim impact statement.
Prosecutors says Geckler shot the 17-year-old with an arrow at an address on King Road near Lake Mohawk.
He then stabbed the teen several times.
