More DeWine Support for East Palestine

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Before the opening of the permanent East Palestine Health Clinic on Monday, many village residents did not have a primary care provider.

Thanks to state funding, they do now, with the ribbon cut by Governor Mike DeWine and other state officials.

The clinic even offers prescriptions, lab testing, and consultation with some specialists at East Liverpool City Hospital, which is running the clinic.

Residents continue to suffer symptoms following the train derailment.

The transportation budget that the governor recently signed (above) also contains new rail restrictions, including an attempted requirement for two-person crews.
